About Clavo Huasca (Tynanthus Panurensis)

The Clavo Huasca is a woody shrub whose stem and leaves give off a strong odour, which is similar to the smell of cloves. Originally used in the Amazon area in South America, Clavo Huasca is a potent aphrodisiac for both men and women. However, this plant is widely used because of its calming effect on the stomach and intestines when used in the Ayahuasca. It helps to soothe in case of diarrhoea and nausea.

Effects of Clavo Huasca (Tynanthus Panurensis)

Due to its calming effects on the digestive system, this plant is often added to the Ayahuasca to reduce the side effects of the Ayahuasca. The plant itself has no hallucinogenic components. It also has a muscle relaxant effect and helps to soothe toothache and rheumatism.

Use

If you want to use Clavo Huasca as aphrodisiac, you may want to make a tincture according to the traditional method of preparation. This is an extract of water and alcohol, which causes the plant to dissolve better and can also be stored longer without losing its properties. It is best to use alcohol with a high percentage of alcohol. In addition, it is best to use distilled water. Take a clean glass bottle with cap and mix the ratio of 50 grams Clavo Huasca to 200ml liquid (at least 40% must be alcohol). The more you grind the herb, the faster the active substances are absorbed into the fluid. Do not place the bottle in the sunlight and preferably use dark glass. Let everything mix for 2 weeks, shaking the bottle at least once a day. After 2 weeks, pour the contents through a sieve to separate the residue from the liquid. Use 3-4 ml of this extract (4: 1) twice a day. Clavo Huasca in Ayahuasca has to be prepared differently. Mix 1-2 teaspoons of Clavo Huasca with a cup of hot water. Let it simmer about 5 to 10 minutes. First pour the drink through a sieve. After drinking, the effect becomes noticeable after 30 minutes.
